NASA joins New Directions, making a financial contribution and is joining in the planning of the workshops and conference. New Directions issues a request for proposals (RFP) to fund six case studies in interdisciplinarity.

Frodeman spent Dec. 6th and 7th at the Geological Survey of
Canada in Vancouver, BC, attending and speaking at the Earth System
Science "Common Ground" workshop. Murray Journay of the GSC will be
joining us at Bio2 in March, and will be making a presentation on the
Georgia Basin Futures Project. To learn more about this project, check
